Unsere Methodik

Ingenieurtechnische Transparenz. So ermitteln unsere Rechner Ihren genauen Materialbedarf.

Die Grundlegende Volumenformel

Nahezu alle Schüttgüter im Tief- und GaLaBau werden nach Raummaß (Kubikyard oder Kubikmeter) berechnet:

  • Cubic Feet = Length (ft) × Width (ft) × Depth (ft)
  • Cubic Yards = Cubic Feet / 27

Hinweis: Bei Eingabe der Einbautiefe in Zoll rechnen unsere Formeln automatisch in Fuß um.

Materialdichten (Gewichtsberechnung)

Für den Lkw- oder Anhängertransport ist das Gewicht entscheidend. Unsere Rechner multiplizieren das Volumen mit realen Schüttdichten.

Baustoff / MaterialDichte (Tonnen pro Kubikyard)
Mutterboden (Trocken)1.00 tons/yd³ (~1.30 t/m³)
Kies / Splitt (#57)1.35–1.40 tons/yd³ (~1.80 t/m³)
Bausand / Estrichsand1.35 tons/yd³ (~1.75 t/m³)
Beton (Ausgehärtet)2.02 tons/yd³ (~2.40 t/m³)
Rindenmulch0.40 tons/yd³ (~0.50 t/m³)

Standard Waste Factors

In construction, things rarely go exactly to plan. Spillage, settling, and uneven grades require you to order slightly more material than the raw geometry suggests.

For strict count materials like Cinder Blocks, our calculators automatically apply a 10% Waste Factor (multiplying the raw count by 1.10) to ensure you have enough unbroken blocks to complete your wall. For bulk materials like dirt and mulch, we provide the exact raw volume, and we recommend rounding up to the nearest half-yard when ordering.
