Notre Méthodologie
Transparence technique.
Cubic Feet = Length (ft) × Width (ft) × Depth (ft)Cubic Yards = Cubic Feet / 27
|---|---|
| Terre Végétale (Sèche) | 1.00 tons/yd³ (~1.30 t/m³) |
| Gravier / Roche de Rivière | 1.35–1.40 tons/yd³ (~1.80 t/m³) |
| Sable de Maçonnerie | 1.35 tons/yd³ (~1.75 t/m³) |
| Béton Prémélangé | 2.02 tons/yd³ (~2.40 t/m³) |
| Paillis de Bois | 0.40 tons/yd³ (~0.50 t/m³) |
Standard Waste Factors
In construction, things rarely go exactly to plan. Spillage, settling, and uneven grades require you to order slightly more material than the raw geometry suggests.
For strict count materials like Cinder Blocks, our calculators automatically apply a 10% Waste Factor (multiplying the raw count by 1.10) to ensure you have enough unbroken blocks to complete your wall. For bulk materials like dirt and mulch, we provide the exact raw volume, and we recommend rounding up to the nearest half-yard when ordering.
